Which UAE company can write custom code and integrations for my ERP?

An ERP technology company in the UAE provides engineers who write scripts, extensions, APIs and deployment pipelines, not only functional configuration. UAE ERP Experts develops in Deluge, Zoho Creator and Zoho Flow on Zoho, Python modules and OWL on Odoo, doctypes and hooks on ERPNext's Frappe framework, and AL extensions for Dynamics 365 Business Central, with source control, code review and staging on every build.

  • Odoo and ERPNext are extended through separate modules and apps rather than editing core files.
  • Business Central customisations are written as AL extensions in Visual Studio Code.
  • API integrations are built with logging, retries and alerting to avoid silently dropped records.
  • Code inherited from another partner starts with a technical audit before new features are added.

Why the technology layer decides how well an ERP works

Most ERP projects are judged on configuration and training, but the parts that break later are usually technical: a brittle script, an integration that silently drops records, a server nobody patches. UAE ERP Experts works as an ERP technology company UAE businesses call when they need engineers, not only functional consultants. Our team writes and maintains code on four ERP stacks and the cloud services around them.

On Zoho we build with Deluge, Zoho Creator and Zoho Flow. On Odoo we develop Python modules, XML views and OWL front-end components. On ERPNext we work in the Frappe framework with doctypes, server scripts and hooks. On Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central we write AL extensions in Visual Studio Code and connect them to the Power Platform. Where no product fits, we build a custom ERP on a modern web stack.

This page explains how we engineer, test, deploy and secure that work, so your IT lead or CFO can judge whether our technical practices match your risk appetite. We are a Microsoft Partner, Zoho Premium Partner, Odoo Official Partner and ERPNext / Frappe partner, based in Dubai and backed by Shyphan AI Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Why the technology layer decides how well an ERP works
  • Developers who work in Deluge, Python, Frappe and AL, not only in settings screens
  • Source control, code review and staging environments on every build
  • API-first integrations with logging, retries and alerting
  • Security practices aligned to role-based access and least privilege
The Challenge

Technical problems we are usually asked to fix

These are the engineering issues that show up in UAE ERP systems after go-live, often a year or two after the original partner has moved on.

Customizations nobody can upgrade

Core Odoo or ERPNext files were edited directly instead of being extended in a separate module. Every version upgrade then becomes a rewrite, so the company stays on an old release.

Integrations that fail without warning

A nightly sync to Shopify, a bank portal or a logistics system stops after a token expires. Nobody notices until stock or receivables are wrong at month-end.

Scripts with no documentation

Dozens of Deluge functions or server scripts run on record save, but there is no list of what each one does. Staff are afraid to change anything in case invoices stop posting.

Self-hosted servers left unpatched

Odoo Community or ERPNext was installed on a cloud VM with default settings, no backups tested and an open database port. That is a real security and continuity risk.

Our engineering stack

What our ERP engineers actually build

Each platform has its own language and extension model. We use the supported route on each one so your system stays upgradeable.

Zoho Deluge and Creator

Custom functions, workflow scripts, Creator apps and Zoho Flow connections across Zoho One. We use Zoho's REST APIs with OAuth 2.0 for external systems.

Odoo Python modules

Separate addons that inherit models and views instead of editing core code, plus OWL components for front-end changes. Delivered through Git, and through Odoo.sh where the client uses it.

Frappe and ERPNext apps

Custom doctypes, hooks, server and client scripts packaged as a Frappe app. This keeps ERPNext upgrades cleaner on Frappe Cloud or self-hosted benches.

Business Central AL extensions

AL extensions built in Visual Studio Code, with Power Automate flows and Power BI reports where they add value. No changes to Microsoft's base application.

APIs and middleware

REST and webhook integrations with logging, retry queues and alerts. We document every endpoint, payload and owner so your team can support it.

Applied AI features

Practical AI where it saves time, such as document data extraction, email classification or demand hints. We scope these carefully and keep a human approval step on financial postings.

Integration and system health in one view

For clients on our support plans we set up monitoring so technical issues are visible before users report them.

  • Integration runs per connector with success and failure counts
  • API error log grouped by endpoint and error type
  • Scheduled jobs that ran late or failed overnight
  • Last verified backup and restore test date
  • Open technical tickets by priority and owner

How the four ERP stacks compare for engineering work

Technology choices shape what you can build later and who can maintain it. This is a plain summary of each platform's development model.

Implementation Timeline

How a technical engagement usually runs

Whether it is a new integration or a clean-up of old code, the engineering cycle is similar. Durations are typical ranges, not commitments.

Durations are typical ranges; your plan is agreed after discovery.

  1. Technical audit

    1-2 weeks

We read the existing scripts, modules, integrations and hosting setup, then list risks in order of impact.

  2. Solution design

    1-2 weeks

Data models, API contracts, error handling and security roles are agreed in writing before code is written.

  3. Build and code review

    often 3-8 weeks

Work happens in short iterations in a Git repository, with peer review on every change.

  4. Testing on staging

    1-3 weeks

Automated and user tests run on a copy of your data so production is never the test bed.

  5. Release and monitoring

    1-2 weeks

We deploy in a planned window, watch logs closely and hand over runbooks and documentation.

UAE Compliance

Engineering for UAE rules, not around them

Technical design choices affect how well your ERP supports UAE requirements. We describe how systems are configured; please confirm tax treatment with your tax advisor.

VAT data integrity

Tax codes, TRNs and the prescribed tax invoice fields are protected from casual editing, and custom code is tested so it does not bypass VAT calculations at the 5% standard rate.

E-invoicing readiness

UAE e-invoicing uses a Peppol-based model with the PINT AE specification, exchanged through Accredited Service Providers. We build the data mapping and ASP connection. Large businesses (AED 50 million revenue or more) face a mandatory date of 1 January 2027; check the latest Ministry of Finance / FTA guidance.

Corporate tax records

Chart of accounts tags, audit trails and locked periods help finance teams prepare figures for corporate tax returns filed through EmaraTax.

Payroll and WPS files

Where payroll runs in the ERP, we generate the Salary Information File format your bank or agent needs for MOHRE's Wage Protection System.

Business Benefits

What better engineering changes for you

We do not promise numbers we cannot prove. These are the outcomes clients usually look for when they bring in a technical team.

Upgrades become possible

Clean extension code means a version upgrade is a project, not a rebuild.

Fewer silent failures

Logged and monitored integrations surface errors the same day instead of at month-end.

Less key-person risk

Documented code and repositories mean you are not dependent on one freelancer.

Stronger security posture

Patched servers, tested backups and tighter roles reduce exposure to data loss and misuse.

FAQs

Questions about our ERP technology work

Still have a question? Our consultants are happy to help.

Ask an Expert
Do you write custom code or only configure ERP settings?

Both. Configuration comes first because it is cheaper to maintain, but we write Deluge, Python, Frappe and AL code when a requirement cannot be met through settings. Every custom component is kept in source control and documented.

Will customizations block future upgrades?

They should not if they are built correctly. We extend Odoo and ERPNext through separate modules and apps, and Business Central through AL extensions, rather than editing core files. Upgrades still need testing, but the code is designed to move forward.

Can you take over code written by another partner?

Yes. We start with a technical audit of the existing repository or scripts, flag risks, and agree a plan to stabilize before adding new features. If there is no repository, we create one as the first step.

Where do you host self-managed Odoo or ERPNext systems?

We work with major cloud providers that offer UAE or nearby regions, or with Odoo.sh and Frappe Cloud. The choice depends on your data residency preferences, budget and in-house IT skills, and we explain the trade-offs before you decide.

How do you handle security on ERP projects?

We apply role-based access with least privilege, separate staging from production, use encrypted connections, rotate API credentials and test backup restores. For clients with their own security policies, we align to those and document any exceptions.
