Selling on Amazon.ae is easy to start and hard to account for. We connect Seller Central to Odoo so FBA and FBM orders, stock and settlement fees are in your books correctly.
Odoo Enterprise includes an Amazon Connector app that uses Amazon's Selling Partner API to import Amazon.ae orders, create sales orders and deliveries, handle FBA and FBM orders differently, and send FBM shipment confirmations back. UAE sellers also need a dedicated FBA stock location and settlement mapping so referral fees, fulfilment fees, refunds and advertising post to the right accounts.
An Odoo Amazon integration in the UAE brings Amazon.ae orders, deliveries and stock into the same Odoo database that runs your purchasing, warehouse and accounting. Most UAE Amazon sellers are traders or brand owners who also sell wholesale, through their own website or on Noon. Their pain is rarely taking the order; it is knowing true stock across channels and explaining the settlement Amazon pays every two weeks, net of referral fees, fulfilment fees, refunds and advertising.
Unlike most marketplaces, Odoo Enterprise includes an Amazon Connector app that uses Amazon's Selling Partner API. It can import orders, create the matching sales orders and deliveries, handle Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) orders differently, and send FBM shipment confirmations back to Amazon. Supported marketplaces and features vary by Odoo version, so we confirm that Amazon.ae (and Amazon.sa if you sell in KSA) and the features you need are covered in your version. On Odoo Community the connector is not included, so third-party apps or a custom build are used instead. This is one of the platform-specific services under our Odoo integration work.
For the general marketplace picture, see ERP Amazon integration. If you also sell on Noon, read Odoo Noon integration, because Noon needs a different method.

These are the problems we find most often in UAE Amazon sellers' books.
Stock sent to Amazon fulfilment centres is still yours, but if Odoo treats it as sold on transfer, inventory value and cost of sales are wrong all year.
Booking only the net payout hides referral and fulfilment fees, makes margins look lower than gross sales suggest and makes the VAT working harder to support.
When FBM orders are copied from Seller Central into a spreadsheet, the warehouse sees them late and Amazon's late-shipment metrics suffer.
Amazon restricts buyer personal information. Teams try to create a full customer for every order, end up with thousands of incomplete contacts and still cannot invoice them properly.
Removal orders, damaged-in-warehouse reimbursements and stock adjustments appear only in Amazon reports, so Odoo stock and Amazon stock drift apart.

One shared database: every step updates stock, finance and reports in real time.
Based on the Odoo Amazon Connector where available; exact features depend on your Odoo version.
| Data | Direction | Trigger / frequency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Offers and SKUs | Mapped in Odoo | Set up once, maintained on change | Each Amazon SKU is linked to an Odoo product; listings are still managed in Seller Central |
| FBM orders | Amazon to Odoo | Scheduled sync | Create sales orders and deliveries from your own warehouse |
| FBM shipment confirmation | Odoo to Amazon | When delivery is validated | Sends carrier and tracking so Amazon marks the order shipped |
| FBA orders | Amazon to Odoo | Scheduled sync | Recorded against an Amazon fulfilment location so stock and cost of sales stay correct |
| FBM stock levels | Odoo to Amazon | Scheduled, where supported | Confirm availability of inventory sync in your Odoo version |
| FBA inbound shipments | Odoo internal transfer | Per shipment | Moves stock from your warehouse to the Amazon location |
| Settlement report | Amazon to Odoo | Each settlement period | Imported and split into sales, fees, refunds, reimbursements and payout |
| Refunds and returns | Amazon to Odoo | With order or settlement | Credit notes; FBA returns may come back to Amazon stock, not yours |
We start with the native option where your edition supports it, and add tools only for gaps.
Usually 3-6 weeks, longer when settlement history must be reconstructed.
We confirm your Odoo edition and version support the connector for Amazon.ae, and decide on native, third-party or custom.
Amazon SKUs, ASINs and Odoo products are reconciled; bundles and multi-packs are mapped to the right components.
We create the Amazon location, transfer rules for inbound shipments and the clearing, fee and reimbursement accounts.
Settlement lines are mapped to accounts so each payout reconciles to the bank and the fees are visible by type.
We run one or two settlement cycles alongside your current method, then train finance and the warehouse on the new routine.
How we configure Odoo to support compliance. Confirm treatment with your tax advisor.
Your Amazon.ae sales are your supplies for VAT. Amazon's fee invoices to you are separate purchase documents. Both must be recorded correctly so the return in Odoo Accounting is supportable.
Who issues the customer tax invoice depends on your marketplace settings. Agree the approach with your tax advisor and configure Odoo accordingly.
Amazon limits how buyer personal data may be stored and used. Keep only what you need for fulfilment, and align with Amazon's policies and the UAE PDPL.
Keep settlement reports and order data with the Odoo entries for at least five years so any VAT query can be traced.

Ask an ExpertIt is an Odoo Enterprise app. Odoo Community does not include it, so Community users rely on third-party apps or custom work. Check that your Odoo version supports Amazon.ae and the features you need.
Typically listings are still created and managed in Seller Central. Odoo links your existing Amazon SKUs to its products for orders, deliveries and stock.
We create a dedicated location for Amazon fulfilment centres. Inbound shipments move stock there, and FBA sales reduce it, so Odoo always shows what Amazon is holding for you.
