Selling on Amazon.ae is easy to start and hard to account for. We connect Seller Central data to your ERP so FBA stock, orders, fees and settlements reconcile instead of piling up in spreadsheets.
Amazon.ae integration with an ERP imports orders through SP-API or order reports, pushes merchant stock, and imports settlement reports split by transaction type, so referral fees, fulfillment fees, storage, advertising and refunds post correctly and payouts match the bank. FBA needs a separate warehouse location, inbound shipment records and regular reconciliation for lost, damaged and returned units; merchant-fulfilled orders confirm shipments back.
UAE brands and distributors often list on Amazon.ae alongside their own website and wholesale business. Orders are simple to fulfill, but the money is not simple to account for: Amazon collects from the customer, deducts referral fees, fulfillment fees, storage fees, advertising and refunds, and pays out the balance on a settlement cycle. An ERP Amazon integration turns that activity into proper sales, cost and receivable entries, and keeps stock correct whether you ship yourself or use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).
The two fulfillment models need different designs. For merchant-fulfilled orders, the ERP receives the order, the warehouse picks and ships, and confirmation goes back to Amazon. For FBA, the stock sits in Amazon's fulfillment centers, so the ERP needs a separate FBA warehouse location, inbound shipment records when you send stock in, and regular reconciliation against Amazon's inventory reports for lost, damaged and returned units.
Amazon offers the Selling Partner API (SP-API) and downloadable reports; most integrations use one or both, either through a connector or custom middleware. Odoo users can read our Odoo Amazon integration guide. If you also sell on Noon, design both together; see the ERP Noon integration page for the differences.

Finance records only the bank payout as revenue. Gross sales, Amazon fees and VAT are understated or misclassified, and margin by channel is invisible.
Stock sent to an Amazon fulfillment center is written off when it leaves your warehouse. The balance sheet loses inventory that you still own.
Without reconciling shipped quantities against Amazon receipts and adjustments, missing units are not noticed in time to raise a reimbursement case.
The same stock serves your website, wholesale customers and Amazon. Manual updates in Seller Central lead to orders you cannot ship on time, which affects seller metrics.
Customer refunds appear in the settlement, but returned units arrive later, sometimes as unsellable. Stock and credit notes fall out of step.

One shared database: every step updates stock, finance and reports in real time.

Options depend on your ERP and volume. Check marketplace coverage for Amazon.ae with any connector before you buy.
Authorize the integration in Seller Central under your own account, with access limited to the roles it needs, such as orders, inventory and finance reports.
Build a mapping between seller SKUs, ASINs and ERP items, including bundles and multipacks that consume more than one ERP unit.
Create an FBA warehouse in the ERP and use transfer documents for inbound shipments, so stock you own stays on the balance sheet.
Map each settlement transaction type to accounts: product sales, VAT, referral fees, FBA fees, storage, advertising, refunds and reserves. Our ERP accounting integration page explains clearing-account patterns.
Share one stock pool rule across Amazon, your website and wholesale. If your site runs on Shopify or WooCommerce, we design the stock reservation logic together.
Run the first two settlement cycles in parallel with the old method, fix mapping gaps, then switch fully. Many sellers then add a channel dashboard; see ERP integrations for BI options.

Your sales to customers are generally your supplies for VAT purposes. Record gross sales and output VAT from the order data, not only the net payout. See UAE VAT in the ERP.
Referral, fulfillment and advertising fees are purchases. Post them as supplier charges with the VAT treatment shown on Amazon's fee invoices so input VAT is claimed correctly.
Stock in Amazon's fulfillment centers is still your inventory. Keep inbound, adjustment and disposal records in the ERP for audit and corporate tax purposes, and retain them for at least five years.
Amazon restricts how buyer personal data may be used. Only sync what fulfillment and accounting need, and follow Amazon's data protection policy as well as UAE rules.

Gross sales, every fee type and refunds sit in the ERP, so channel profitability is visible by SKU.
Regular reconciliation shows lost or damaged units early enough to follow up with Amazon.
Each payout is broken down and matched, instead of being posted as one lump sum.
Merchant stock is shared correctly across channels, which protects seller performance metrics.
We configure the system for the rules UAE businesses report against, and test it before go-live.

Ask an ExpertSmaller sellers can work well with scheduled report imports. The API becomes worthwhile when order volume is high, when merchant stock must update frequently, or when you want near-real-time order import.
As a separate warehouse location. Transfers move stock in, FBA orders reduce it, and Amazon's inventory adjustments are posted after review.
Yes. The ERP holds one stock pool for merchant-fulfilled channels, with rules for safety stock so one channel cannot sell everything.
They appear as deductions in settlements or as separate invoices. We post them as marketing expense by channel so they can be compared with sales.
Yes, with separate channels, currencies and tax settings. Whether that needs a separate legal entity depends on your setup; confirm with your advisor.
A connector-based setup with settlement posting often takes four to eight weeks, including two settlement cycles of parallel checking.
